Generating Income for Tomorrow (G.I.F.T.)
The WellSky Foundation has gifted $10,000 to Generating Income for Tomorrow (G.I.F.T.), a nonprofit organization committed to powering economic prosperity and wealth for the African American community. With this generous donation from the WellSky Foundation, the organization will provide grants to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in low-income areas of Kansas City.
Founded in 2020, G.I.F.T. works tirelessly to be a driver of change by bringing financial support, education, and empowerment to entrepreneurs. It’s through their support that more job opportunities for neighborhood residents and attracting the interest of community investors to further boost the area’s economic strength are possible.
